I am Petros, and I am an Abbot of the Dougian Church. Our Church of Douglas Adams (a book club) wanted to begin an "academy" for new members. Here, you will learn the ways of the Book Club, so that you will do nothing in ignorance. For those who come here, you shall be known as Students.
You will be known as Students until you should finish the Hitchhiker's Series (according to the Book Club pace), and should write an entry (comment) on any deep meaning of this series which Douglas Adams, the Writer, gave to us. Once you have done this, you shall become a "Saint". When you are a Saint, you shall be able to qualify to be a Dougian priest or even a Bishop! Of course, one day you may even be able to ascend to Arch-Bishop or the Book Club Pope!
Anything is possible! So, Students, if you have come here or to the Church of Douglas Adams blog, then please comment on the site and give yourself a name or nickname. Either is acceptable. Remember, however, the name will be used when you achieve Sainthood.
